Survival In Auschwitz (Paperback)

Customer Review

I read this book in high school and have rediscovered emotionally with different eyes for 70 years of the liberation of Monowitz Concentration Camp. Camp in which Primo Levi was interned.

The strength that emerged through this book and how Primo and his companions in misfortune fought to survive while their chances of survival were almost non-existent was really upsetting
Primo Levi decorates its passage text of the Divine Comedy of Dante. I could easily imagine the horror of concentration camps through this autobiography but this addition of Dante reinforces this sense of horror.

A very moving book and a real lesson in courage that can be read several times, the chapters are well sequenced.
