I had been looking for a good microphone for recording YouTube, and I thought that everything would be okay to 200. This microphone was therefore in the budget there.
The downside to the Røde NT1-A is that it requires phantom power. There are the Behringer XENYX 302USB 502USB and that each cost 50, however, these only !! 15V phantom power !! The NT1-A but needs 48V, so you come to the consoles from 100+ not around. There is the opportunity to buy a phantom power adapter (for example, the Pronomic P2 for 19,90) but these have a wrong connection and do not fit into the mixer!
There is one last possibility: the Rode NTUSB you can buy (10 cheaper), it has an integrated audio interface, which means you do not need a mixer! The sound quality is in my opinion the same, but as I could read with reference to several reviews, is there more plastic than metal, so I prefer this Røde ago. Luckily I had already these two consoles, so it was no problem.
## I will soon make an update, if my program Audacity recognizes the microphone and then how it sounds in the video (after rendering, etc.)
// I hope I could help you //
