So, my first recommendation is minded to listen to music no longer by CD players, but only ripped (FLAC).
First reason: massive increase operability, flexibility, lightning-fast search.

The only real drawback: the fins is costly. Special care is needed in the ID tags, otherwise later accesses the search into the void.
My second recommendation is: Sonos!
Reason: I had ripped my entire CD collection and heard about the competition Player Logitech Squeezebox. Complicated installation, constant errors, crashes, incorrect updates of this player have long robbed me of the nerve, until I threw it and switched to Sonos. Conclusion: the installation takes no more days but minutes. Crashes: no longer 300 but one.
