What I like:
- Compared to the operation without dimming the brightness maximum of 3 x 7.5 watts hardly reduced LED8G6027Lmd lamps.
Dimmer from the hardware store, base load 20-500W: about 30-50% brightness loss
Busch - Jaeger 6523U LED: 5-10% brightness loss, if any.
- Completely silent. The dimmer the hardware store hums loudly against it.
- Everything mounted ready looks as chic.
- The minimum brightness can be adjusted by removing the central wheel and turning the red screw.
What I do not like:
In conjunction with the 3 x 7.5 watt lamps LED8G6027Lmd occurs during Eischalten to flicker or even loss of one or 2 lamps if
1. The minimum brightness (red screw) is set too low and at the same time
2. the central disk of the dimmer is set to minimum or set just above.
The charm dissolves again only by turning the central wheel clockwise.
However, all lights bulbs once correctly, so they can be easily turn down until the twilight.
As other reviewers had no such problem, it is up to the lights, not to the dimmer. So 5 stars.
The assertion of other reviewers, the knob on dimmer (central disc) would be difficult to handle, I can not understand. Probably not original parts from Busch-Jaeger were used or the central disk is not mounted correctly. *
* Short installation instructions for the Busch-Jaeger Zentralscheibe:
1. Place the frame
2. Insert the glow lamp to the springs in the screw holes of the left and right phase, so that the plastic plate is toward the center.
3. Insert midsection so that the plastic plate of the glow lamp is fixed.
4. Remove the black ring with the disk part ahead so screw that keeps everything well.
5. Cover plate vigorously, but without damaging them, press.
