+ Enormous standby time
+ Processed extremely well, feels very high quality and is very comfortable to hold
+ Aluminum cover
+ Gorilla Glass II
+ Nice tactile feedback of the buttons
+ Small, silent power supply with mini USB3 port
+ Good reception characteristics
+ Antenna port on the back at the bottom and thus further away from the head!
+ Apps for the needs it: Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc. - but at the display resolution and without touch control anyway unusable
+ With micro SD memory card expandable
++ Sämtiliche data transmission and 3G can be switched off
++ Glass cover of the 5 megapixel camera is half a millimeter behind the housing area, making rel. scratch-safe
o Micro-Sim slot (like iPhone 4, not nano-Sim Slot like the iPhone 5)
- Display resolution long no longer corresponds to the state of the art! Everything appears pixelated as with mobile phones in the 80s.
- No mini settled USB3 Data Cable
- Opening the cover rather difficult and only with the supplied "tool" is possible!
- SW update via the GSM network functioning in spite of existing data connection NOT!
- Nokia Suite is only available for PC: - ((
- Mobile data connection: forgettable surf internet with the 515er in comparison to a smartphone actually. The resolution of the screen is totally unsuitable, the cursor operation suboptimal with the rocker switches and the configuration of the access point (APN) is not very clearly structured and solved more than awkward. For the uninitiated, it is very frustrating to be until finally a mobile data connection is established!
Conclusion: A wonderful alternative to the smartphone! Small, light quality workmanship! After a long dry spell a fundamental re-purchase from Nokia! For mobile data services less recommendable!
