But the general euphoria, I can not quite understand. It is a live recording, alright, but I have since still clearly too much noise to hear. From other live recordings I know not to this extent. This affects my listening pleasure: I do not like to think how nice it would sound without the noise, I like to hear it directly nice.
What I find is the way a bit irritating in the third sentence of the "Emperor Concerto" emphasizing Maestro Barenboim in the second bar on the fourth beat. I know this concert of tens of performers, including Gulda (fabulous) and Uchida, Rubinstein and Lang Lang - nobody says that so choppy. When the orchestra takes up the theme, this place is also emphasized differently. And: Even Barenboim makes the apparently not always so: I know a recording with the Royal Danish Orchestra (Det Kongelige Kapel), in which he quite "normal" plays this point.
