Picture and video quality has become even sharper and less noisy, so actually no more noise is noticeable. Very nice is also the extended wide-angle 30mm to 25mm and very practical I find the new Panorama Assist (a swing = a finished panoramic image), and the loading facility at the side of the camera. The loading of the bottom in the S8100 has been really considered not good. The retractable flash has a very high quality. In the S8100, it has aufgedonnert lightning literally - if that's so good for the technology ...
All in all, there is of mine, the "very good". If you want a simple way, that is without all the setting the circus have excellent pictures, and with a camera that does not constantly dangling by the neck á la SLR and Bridge, but fits in your pocket, can not get on the Nikon Coolpix S8200 -> Buy rating par excellence!
Additional after 2 weeks practical test:
It has proven itself in the green Auto mode (+0.3 on the scale) to increase the saturation permanently by one point. Thereby, the images just more vivid and lifelike. It should also be selected in the Video mode of "Continuous autofocus" to get consistently sheep videos. Was often criticized in other reviews (of ignorance)! Proven also the ISO speed has to be limited to "Auto 400".
