The battery grip is solid and provides enough power for long photo sessions
such as weddings. For me as a professional photographer is of course important,
because nothing is worse than when you lose a good photo due to battery weakness!
The handle itself is solid and sturdy; There is nothing to complain about.
It holds 2 batteries, with their power you can safely by photographing a day to a week!
In addition, there is another battery rail included! Handy if
Suddenly out of power the battery, you can still switch to AA batteries!
The battery grip offers even the way a small "secret compartment" for the removed battery cover
the 5D Mk II. So you can at any time remove the grip, wenns in Fotorucksack / Pocket times
is tight.
The only thing in this handle bothers me: The pressure point of the vertical shutter
is very looooong weak. So it often happened that I accidentally recording
doing, although I "are" only my finger on the trigger had.
I do not know if it's just my copy, or if the Canon in this handle
has standard equipment!
CONCLUSION:
A battery grip is a must-have when it comes to a long photo sessions. Particularly
for big men's hands it is suitable because it makes the camera at a decent
Total.
The high price is justified, because the handle is processed really solid!
In my opinion, it is worth buying the original!
