A number of these mini devices I've looked at and finally decided on this one because it explicitly appeals to both the only 9 bar in the description and very well come off in the comments. So why now, a further comment?
Well, actually, the device should be running on 230 volts - that's even need a power supply for it. The Star Talk Universal charger 220V adapter 12V Zig.Buchse 300800, which "is often bought" under shown, is completely unsuitable for that was clear to me even without the corresponding comments. I've then with the Waeco mains rectifier 6 amperes tried because I have found no exact performance of the compressor. The experiments thus results in two findings that I will put the inclined and interested readership's heart here:
6 amps are also much too little (even when starting the fuses blow in be pleased with), I now have a professional switching power supply with 12 V / 20 A of the model (Graupner) concerned - can be seen at the current indication that the compressor when pumping 15 to 17 amperes "pulls". This, however, I had the cigarette lighter plug to two banana plug swap, which was a problem - the wire was soldered to the central terminal, gets the red and the other wire screwed the black plug.
And - the compressor is running against a residual pressure of 4 bar in the tire not to, but is growling available 20 A to heat (you should turn right back: 12 V x 20 A 240 W - we remember the good old 100 W lamps, how hot that were - that holds no long motor off). Trick: Pressure hose not fully tighten, but only so far that the remaining air out hisses softly - pump on - then pressure hose to the valve. Then it's really fun: rapidly pumps the device the tube to more than 9 bar high (when unscrewing some air hisses out again), and we do not even find this especial loud.
Because the compressor is pumping well, is processed properly and nothing to this, if you can not do it with our current offer him, he gets 5 stars - for now. Should he, however, soon fail, what we do not hope, then we come back and strike off star!
