I am the brand Western Digital from the beginning of their mobile range (my 80GB still going strong, despite the years). I have never had a failure with their hard drives, internal or external. This portable drive is fabulous: it is light, rather nice, spacious and very fast. For now, I do not think good. However small downside: the usb cable new format seems less practical ... I recommend it.
