Totally unacceptable to me is the short life of the PX 100 II. A significant factor is the extremely "sticky" cable texture that ensures that you really get stuck anywhere with the cable, whether clothing or on the skin. The outer casing is made of a soft rubber-like material having a rough surface, the soul is apparently thinner than a hair and forgives cable puller that occur inevitably in the mobile operating difficulties.
After less than a year a channel has failed and a new must be found. I'll probably buy again the Koss Porta Pro, which although not quite as good sounds, but is cheaper and more stable. And since the hearing may be used, the marginal sound deficits have to get over. Maybe I give the AKG K 420 denim mini headphones foldable a chance, let's see.
One can only hope that Sennheiser as quality-conscious company back on the right track finds ...
Edit 09/06/2013:
Unfortunately I was so stupid and have again bought a px 100 II. People are just really stupid sometimes. After less than 2 years is also the over again - a channel has failed, just like that, without load. I see it with humor as I am as I said to blame themselves. An invoice is untraceable and therefore also eliminates the warranty. Because Sennheiser requires an invoice to a Produnkt than to identify her.
What really surprises me is my Headset PC 150 Sennheiser keeps for over 7 years and in the time it has experienced a lot of not just zimperlichem use. Sennheiser can thus build stable, if they really want. Unfortunately, earns you money with durable products.
Sennheiser died for me and now I'm more than angry about this company.
I switch to the competition, a Sony MDRZX600 will be there - because you can already see in the picture that the cable is built much more stable. Tschöö Sennheiser and have fun at the customer betrollen.
