It all starts simply enough when the fey Elora is kidnapped by a malicious hybrid group. Elora allegedly carries the fruit of a love not transgender: mages and fey are not supposed to happen again ... and yet this is what happened.
From the kidnapping settled what I call a "choral novel": the author built several solid and realistic characters and gives them a voice brilliantly. We laugh with them, we panic, we shudder. The voice of each character, including the "bad guys" is intriguing and fascinating. I am unable to hate ugly-beautiful-not of history, especially because what they think gives them a semblance of humanity, fragility. Kolderick is a unique paranormal romance aeuvre by the depth and the "realism" of his characters - and their numbers, some will say.
There Vampires, the fey, mages and GMOs: the famous hybrids that spend their time off of innocent young women. All these creatures are developed and integrated brilliantly. It operates in an exciting world, moving and dangerous.
This is the first volume, that said, I look forward to seeing the author further develop the world she created. Couples - because there are several, all more interesting and developed as each other - promise following detonating volumes.
You'll understand, I loved my reading - and I'm not usually a bite of paranormal romance. I can only encourage you to dive into Kolderick. You can not not like.
