I Noiseblocker M12-P fan in use.
Since the connectors are compatible with 3-pin, you can connect to the cable also PWM fans to one 3-pin on the motherboard. In the case, however, the fans run at maximum or must be controlled by voltage, which also is not a problem.
However, one should bear in mind in such a situation that some PWM fans tend to clatter when they are controlled by voltage and PWM fan that usually. require a higher starting voltage.
I am writing this here because there are motherboards as my Gigabyte, which have a 4-pin connector Sysfan, but which are not PWM, but a normal 3-pin with spare pin and surprisingly can be regulated only by Voltage.
Addendum:
I must reduce to 3 stars, the rating of 5 because of a contact on the socket is already rausgeflutscht. Had I only wondered why a fan is not running after I had again laid the cable differently. It was a pin of the connector from the strand with tachometer signal. Lies to backtrack through very careful and save the plug is inserted into the socket yet. The pin is now but more kept from the plug in the socket as he would be anchored there.
