I've actually tried to cut nose hair, to no avail with this device. Did it then with hair in more accessible places, such as attempts by the arms, nothing. So I do not cut what that device might meats or cheese (which I have not tested) but hair does not cut it at least that much is clear. Maybe I caught one of the oft-quoted Monday device, but it was in spite of moving "blade" to trim not to persuade hair.
