The Safari Guide by Philip Briggs is perhaps the best guide which I have ever been in the fingers. Super informative with lots of background information, very useful information and a wide range of accommodation. All major regions of Tanzania are clearly presented and wonderfully written. Who is the English language, this guide over German guidebooks should prefer. We have read several German Tanzania Guides and none came even close to the Briggs.
