The part is not completely waterproof. Was the last outdoor Tour dirty! I could make no fire because the matches had become damp.

Here is a review of the product is strongly advised.

If a product is offered as a waterproof, it has this property without ifs and buts have.
Otherwise I can also take a plastic bag for 2 cents.
