From the construction form it is a doctor's bag with a firm, U-shaped bracket and a thereon zipper. The bag is fully padded inside with 15mm thick solid and removable foam. The foam on the ground is incorporated in the pocket and not removable. In addition, screens are made of the same material fact that everywhere in the interior can be fastened with Velcro, so you can produce its optimal interior layout.
There are two flat exterior pockets that are backed up with solid Velcro flaps on one side pocket. On the opposite side of the bag a very stable fabric strap is sewn, through which you can push the handle bars of a travel trolleys. So the bag with the trolley is firmly connected.
A broad, sufficiently long strap with soft padded shoulder pad can be attached with snap hooks at the diagonally opposite brackets, so that the pocket well over one shoulder can be worn (or around the neck diagonally).
I have placed a larger full-frame equipment in his pocket as follows.
- A great SLR body with a 4.0 / 24-120 Zoom (SB mounted, lying ready to fire)
- A 2.8 / 100 Macro (upside-down position with mounted SB, ready for assembly)
- A bulky 2.8 / 14 WW with integrated SB (upside-down position, ready for assembly)
- A 4-5.6 / 70-300 Zoom (upside-down position, SB inversely plugged)
- A 1.8 / 50 (upside-down position with mounted SB, ready for assembly)
- A dedicated flash with protective bag (Meike MK910), radio triggers and various accessories.
- Battery Charger f camera.
- Battery Charger f 4 AA / AAA batteries and diverse.
- ZOOM H6 recorder with three microphone attachments
- IPad mini
- 4 filters in Schraubdöschen (in the outside pockets)
In this equipment, the bag is relatively difficult course, but everything is neat and easy to (!!) available. I am thus able to immediately go to an appointment without having to repack only tedious.
I can often dispense with the recording devices, I take this and the iPad simply out of his pocket. Thus, the bag is easy to handle about 7 kg and for me as a reportage pocket. If I have a second body in this regard depend on this usually one of the lenses, which are otherwise in his pocket and I can the second body after work also put in the bag (much space is left).
I am very impressed by the "bow-stiff" bag, as I (and the body) have the contents are properly before me on opening and can remove and store the camera with lens easily. Even when changing lenses that is very helpful. In any case, a huge difference to the pudding soft Crumpler bags in which way the content and swoops down and eventually prevails total chaos. By the way, do not worry, the body pushes why not more unpleasant than a soft bag!
The bag can be inside keep clean, for me an important issue, because I often drive me around in dusty and sandy areas. The zipper closes the interior hermetically because it really closes completely.
If the "Cullmann" emblem is removed, the bag looks even less after photo bag - which in some environments immensely reassured ...
