HP was eliminated because all the problems described above, except for the touch screen operation several times also stood by the successor model on the Internet.
It was the Epson WorkForce 3520/3540, Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4535DWF, Canon Pixma MX925.
Criteria were: All-In-One Inkjet Printers, purchase price up to 300 euro, cheaper price per page in b / w, pressure range from min. 1000 pages
Compared with the Epson Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4535DWF eliminated because multiple bad software was criticized Suite, which consists of a conglomeration of diverse programs. In addition, the printer does not offer fax transmission report and Epson is lt. Amazon reviews unwilling to retrofit this feature.
The Epson WorkForce 3520/3540 was my favorite, because of the low CPP (Cost per Page) compared to Canon. The problem was the high significantly poorer print image compared to the Epson, which is plausible reference to the technical specifications of the device.
In addition, the half-baked software was repeatedly criticized.

So the Canon Pixma MX925 has been appointed, which should be available in 4-5 weeks.
Satisfied, I was not so, because there the bad / clattering workmanship, lack of card reader / USB port which is includable via network, higher CPP in b / w and color printing, cheap-looking consumer lacquer finish, multiple reports of cleanings / printhead cleanings so as well when old HP (see above) was the case.
Fortunately, I have the same day at [...] read an article that the Epson WorkForce was introduced 3620/3640 with new Precision Core printheads and now 600dpi instead of previously 360dpi (see. Workforce 3520), resulting in better text display is enabled. Since it is a new device, I automatically assumed that Epson has packed up the latest software and have learned from their mistakes.

3.) Review of the Epson WorkForce 3640
The printer is processed very solid, no creaking or clunk.
No continuous piano finish. No annoying touchscreen keys where it degrades the usability.
Touchscreen easy to read, respond very quickly, facility very easily.
NO 'normal' minutes long instrument check when turning the device, it is ready for use within approximately 11 seconds, incredible for me than previous HP-ridden, like magic!
Prints b / w copies in an incredible speed. Epson advertises that it is sometimes faster than laser printers, I can not say whether the vote, but he is extremely fast, the specified value of 19 PPM (pages per minute) s / w is definitely realistic.
I use the printer in conjunction with Mac OS X 10.9.2 and Windows 8.1, the drivers for Mac OS X, I can load from the Australian Epson side, because the printer is not yet listed on the .com site.
Mainly I have dealt myself with the Mac drivers & Scan program.
The drivers are easy to install and it posed no challenge to integrate the printer to the network, for example to drive us to the memory card reader or USB slot on the network. The drivers I am very happy, stable, easy to use and all important functions are within easy reach.
Bundled OCR software (To make text in scanned files 'readable / searchable', Epson has it 'Presto PageManager 9' included) works rudimentary, is for business use for me but not usable because the words that are often legible not recognizes (German language).
Printing via AirPrint about the iPhone will also work with no problems. Scanning and printing via AirPrint on OS X also worked, but OS X offers after installing the driver significantly more options, so I advise everyone to install it in any case. It is divided very well into the operating system.
The integrated web server is very easily accessible, a firmware update was also carried out without problems and quickly, the menu is clearly structured and very business-oriented (not as colorful as HP, but very fast and you will find what you are looking).
With the print quality I am very satisfied, no trace of coarseness in letters as partly reported in Amazon reviews at 3520/3540, for which the new printhead technology has helped secure.
The scanner works and delivers documents in good quality if you set the DPI according to his wishes in the software.
The fax has not been tested.

4.) Conclusion
I have read in recent days so many criticisms and to the included OCR software from a third party I can not find a date, although there are so many potential points.
I've never been so happy with a printer.

Addendum # 2 08/20/2014: Even if the black cartridge is empty, can still scan and use all the features that are not available in conjunction with the print. One would think that this is normal. With my old 'winner' from HP, the HP Officejet Pro 8500 A, which was refused because no ink is present. Mind you, the SCAN TO PC!
