I have the album gained only later (about 4 weeks after publication) because at first I was a bit disappointed. I had more, or better said, expecting another. I hoped that the Best of does not rely only on the released singles. If one remembers albums to the hitherto erhältichen Depeche Mode, you realize again that a great many beautiful songs off the singles exist, for example: Halo, Higher Love, Fly on the Windscreen, It Does not Matter Two, Nothing's Impossible, Surrender , The Sinner In Me, and so on. Unfortunately, it was then too bad for me, because I the Singles 81-85 and 86-98 already had.
But regardless of the album is just great. There are really very very good songs. If one has not the Singles 81-85 and 86-98, the purchase is highly recommended.
Perhaps there will again a collection of the best non-singles in a beautiful artwork by Anton Corbjin. This would for me and perhaps all those who have the singles compilations, again be very nice.
