After unpacking we what?
- The tablet with a small protection film (they are not allowed on screen protects the entire product)
- A charger and usb cable
- A little manual
- A JBL headphones
Finishing and printing *** First ***
The headphones are in-ear type without microphone jack. The finish could have been better from JBL I have a little tip whose brand logo is not very well printed.
But compensation, it makes listening very well (for an intra), the bass is present and it changes the other where we look for ... Bonus: a pair of additional caps come with.
The tablet is very well finished, nothing trembles or is detached.
The base is metal (be careful when you open it for the table if it is wood, because its edges could scratch)
The screen is ... Grand! And its weight is still present (a little less than a kilo depending on the manufacturer)
Frankly I kinda feel like a "panzer-tablet"
It has a headphone jack, a micro USB jack, a volume button, an on-off button, a button for the projector and a pin button to the development of the latter.
*** *** ERGONOMICS
With its "blister" where the battery is naturally holds lodge with one hand, but it is still better to ask on his lap or any support.
The base is really ingenious, I was a little scared at first he did not take the weight of the tablet, but in fact there is no problem (as long as the bank does not go too far -> imbalance! )
I mostly used on a table and the base that tilts "naturally" a few degrees is perfect for typing and use.
*** *** SOFTWARE
Nothing but classic with a version of Android 4.4.2 Lenovo
Muni applications foundation for the office, watching his videos / photos, mails etc.
Everything starts quickly, scrolling between apps is done without waiting, very fluid.
MEMORY *** ***
Featuring original 32G ° it has actually (factory) of about 24G ° available (with all apps installed base)
I would strongly advise to invest in a micro-sd card 64G ° to "breathe" a bit in terms of capabilities.
Easily found on Amazon in at prices not too expensive (personally I took a Samsung, micro SDXC - UHS-I class 10)
OTG *** ***
On the GO!
BIG advantage we can use the USB port to plug in a key and read its contents.
An internal browser is used to read and search for what you want.
One downside: FAT32 formatting (or else you must use specific apps with rootage)
SCREEN *** ***
Obviously with such a size it imposes. Especially since it has about 1cm black edges on the perimeter (probably the next version will be more detailed on that side).
The brightness (even in daylight) is excellent retail blameless.
No jerks, even with games "thoroughly joysticks"
SON *** ***
Very big change on that side.
First a pair of speakers located facades and a bass Mini-box in the back.
Let us immediately point on that ...
In the realm of tablets she gains arguably the palm in terms of power and definition.
Now, we must not delude ourselves we are still far short of a simple pair of speakers 'classic' (even cheap - sorry for the French)
Still, it becomes "listenable" and audible even with ambient noise.
So big positive.
*** FILE ***
I took a few shots with, but it is not very convenient to take pictures with a rather large machine and weighs a little ...
They are perfectly adequate for this type of product, but it does not replace a dedicated device (this is just my opinion ...)
*** *** SPOTLIGHT
Revelation of Lenovo.
Unpublished on all existing manufacturers.
This pico projector turns very simply using a button on the edge.
Then simply make the development with a "rolling" button on the side (caution it is rather rough to)
It is valid only in the dark, the optimal distance remains within two meters of the wall.
For the rest I was quite surprised that they had not botched this device.
The resolution (without HD) is very respectable, colors a little Palotes (especially when you have seen before the tablet's screen).
But we must be honest, given the proposed price and ease of use I'm not disappointed.
The diagonal is about 100-150cm smoothly.
AUTONOMY *** ***
For now use pure surfing and I'm doing with about 7-8 hours
Recharge time is approximately 6 hours with a dead battery.
*** CONCLUSION ***
In the end we have a heavy tablet, voluminous, but very versatile and well finished.
A high resolution screen with better sound tablets.
Very versatile with its pico-projector (on holiday to watch the evening film or photos), reactive he lacks a little more lightness to be perfect.

_____________________________ ______________________________ ADDENDUM
I bought on Amazon a case for this tablet.
In the loccurrence:
IVSO Slim-Book Case Cover for Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 13.3-Inch Tablet with Function Sleep / Wake Automatic
Suffice to say that I was a little disappointed ... (I have made a dedicated comment)
Apart from the fact that it fits perfectly with the tablet (ideal size) and its finish does not suffer any reproach, it has three negative points:
1 - The announcement is wrong: it is not leather.
2 - It has a chemical smell more unpleasant.
3 - Auto standby does not.
There oddly another vendor who sells exactly the same product (but without indicating that it is leather or set automatic standby):
EveCase PU Synthetic Leather Case Black with integrated support - for the new Tablet Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro (1380) touch pad
This is cheaper than the previous one (but the question is if it also has this foul odor)
