After my old metal screen had to be discarded due to an increased volume of rust, I have decided after a short search for Emsa Faltsieb.

+ Valent, sturdy plastic
+ Connection between white plastic and red rubber acts (yet?) Very stable
+ Can be very space-saving and easy to store "open" if necessary (collapsed about 2-3 cm high)
+ Dishwasher safe
+ Fair price
= Rice grains fall partially through the elongate slots (although this is not tragic)
= Despite the sieve can handle due to its overall length (unlike its predecessor metal) can not be supported on the edge of the kitchen sink - it keep the overall dimensions in human limits
