Frida Gold's "jewel" is quite an Appropriate Name for Their debut album Because They as a band, are a rare gem to come out of Germany. Their music is Such a nice blend of beautiful pop melodies and electronic beats. Where Frida Gold rises above other electro-pop bands is the minimal use of voice altering effects. There is no auto-tune in the Entire Album! I also really appreciate thatthey write and perform in Their native tongue- German.
The beautiful lead vocalist has to Equally beautiful voice and charm. I have not been in love with a German album or band in a long time. "Jewel" took a really long time to be released but the love, struggles and effort went into making it indeed is very evident.
