The Basics:
-Bildqualität: How suggestive of 5 star, I have on the image quality complaints. The image is razor sharp, the colors look from top.
-Tonqualität: Not applicable, since the TV via the headphone output of a 5.1 system depends
-Satellitenempfang: Very good picture and reception quality. Annoying here is just the sort of transmitter: Adopting so can no longer be the transmitter move during the search one of the preset station lists. The solution: Choose a "blind search". Then the stations come unsorted, you can then sort with the mouse and keyboard efficiently to use the remote control for this is no solution.
-Use As a PC monitor - labor
I put the TV on my PC as a monitor (via HDMI connection. If the PC does not provide HDMI output, you can hire cheap DVI> HDMI adapter on the market.
Due to the enormous size and the ordinary resolution you can easily work on multiple documents or equal to equal to open two browser windows. Windows 8.1 allows a even up to 4 apps side by side represent - Compared to my old 22 inch monitor with 168ß * 1050 resolution, a real gain. The only drawback: Due to the low seat pitch while working can be seen in part the individual pixels, which is especially annoying striking in white areas because of television, however, can not help it.
-Use As a PC monitor - Movie and TV
Since I have installed a TV card in my computer, own a Bluraybrenner and some movies to disk (mainly television recordings) own, it is important for me that the images are displayed cleanly from these sources. This is the case, and therefore no deduction ier.
-Use As a PC monitor - Gaming
My PC is a small grenade games, so it was also important to me that I can also represent decent games with the new TV. Since one in reviews of other TV often of things like input lag and Dirty Screen Effect (DSE) is listening, I especially paid attention.
My experience with this TV: Provides you the TV properly, so the games just as smoothly and with crystal clear image as if on a TFT monitor. A DSE I have also not yet been determined.
-Smart TV:
Amazon Instant Video, Netflix and Youtube (more I have not tested yet) function as intended, but it is advisable to keep the mouse and keyboard ready for operation (a normal wireless mouse like the PC tuts).
-3D - 2D-3D Conversion
Is a nice gimmick, the 3D effect varies between OK and grottig.
-3D - Blurays
The image of 3D Blurays looks absolutely amazing. In Avatar, or I-Despicable 2 I had partly the impression that I start things from the TV out. 3D glasses from the cinema also makes the way a 3D effect.
The 3D effect at Blurays comes out at a distance of 2-3m best.
-3D - Gaming
3D gaming was my great hope for a more intense gaming experience (albeit only a nice extra, not a selling point). Here, however, does gelich on a number of issues, most of which are probably due to my graphics driver:
1. 3D gaming costs money. NVidia wants about 40 for "3D TV Play" in the necessary quality (see below) too expensive for me.
2. Not all games run in 3D. The running, look for really impressive (eg Skyrim)
3. resolutions and frame rates are Tuas (total among all S **). NVidia allows 3D mode only available in 1920 * 1080 @ 24Hz or 1280 * 720 @ 60Hz. That there occur stuttering is probably as clear as daylight. Also a significant input lag, I have found that the good is my graphics card or TV, I do not know.
So, that's it for now.
Would I recommend the TV? Yes absolutely. It costs less than the current comparable model from Samsung, has the better (my feelings) 3D technology, which draws significantly softer images, can Smart TV and is good as a full-fledged PC monitor, which my old gamer monitor 2009 even significantly trumps (Samsung T220HD). Oh yes: The Smartphone App to suck battery like crazy. Then rather classical control with mouse and keyboard.
