Unfortunately, I made the mistake to return the device immediately to Amazon but to turn to the Samsung support.
The Samsung Support has recommended to me the device at the next service provider to send.
Relatively quickly, within 2 weeks I got a quote from more than 180 (almost twice the initial purchase price of Amazon) for the exchange of the imaging unit by pointing out that the life of the unit is exceeded.
I myself reported immediately to the Samsung support. After repeated calls and multiple Complaining that no reactions coming to my question was the unit returned unrepaired after 4 weeks at me.
Samsung could not provide within this time the case to clarify with their service partners. In retrospect, I explained the support (after 6 weeks, 10 questions by phone and several mails) that I as already declared by the service provider no warranty or goodwill solution get. The imaging drum is (and Hold on) a wear part with a lifetime of 16,000 pages. Since there is a wearing part, there is no warranty (even if the lifetime has not been exceeded) and color printers, the service life drops to 4000 pages, since each page is counted for all colors.
Fortunately, I was able to clarify on Amazon servicing finally.
My experience with the printer service of Samsung was unfortunately frightening. A clear case of the option is factory quality error that is passed to the end customer.
I can not recommend this printer from Samsung you for this reason. I myself will buy no more printers from Samsung and consider myself because now more like HP (provides for registration extended warranty on many devices that I've now seen) and Brother (offers on many printers 3-year warranty when purchased in eg Austria and Germany ).
