Well thought out is the thread for the camera or head mounting. Both can be threaded strengthen screwed equally without adapter via a spring-loaded 1/4 'and 3/8' thread. If a thread is less than 3/8 "screwed, then the outer thread is depressed and the 1/4" screw released.
As I grow 1.88 I've been using it with my Giottos Ball Head MH7001.
In this combination, the viewfinder of my camera comes perfectly on par.
The use of a ball joint on a monopod is useful, as you so has the freedom to vary the position. Especially for macros of small animals which is very convenient. One is with the thing logically great outdoors and should be therefore flexible.
Beginners have to advise against it, to measure the height of the tripod at your own body size.
Not the Sativ should be at eye level but the viewfinder of the camera.
Lieber before buying a bit with a ruler tinkering.
Otherwise you can hold the camera at the end only at the end.
