A Aircell APS55N neoprene strap I have already, but only one. This belt is absolutely great, has great wearing comfort and looks after about 1.5 years is still as good as new. He has been through a lot, was already lying in the dirt and was licked by various animals with curiosity :-))) but I wanted a different belt for heavy Sigma set because my quick connector (belt clips) of Aircell too small / unsafe appeared. Thus, my choice fell on the patented OP / Tech Super Classic Strap 3/8 "belt loops, since this is the longer strap with 147cm total length and has larger / more stable quick connector. Through my larger body size I need that" extra "strap.
Okay, now I have the Op / Tech System harness which is as I said also fitted with quick connectors. He should be safe by the manufacturer to 7.5 kg. The company OP / Tech has for patents and gives a lifetime warranty for its products in America - nice to know, but what if ... therefore I have now also both quick connector with black "Düwi" cable ties (300 x 4.8 mm ) secured, from sewn to strap mount stitched strap mount - thus the belt hangs in the worst case in the cable ties. The same, I then made the Aircell, more can not be done. The design works well and does not fall to continue.
The OP / Tech Super Classic is a neoprene belt with non-slip knobs - the good 3-kg camera hangs very good at it and felt the weight has been minimized significantly. On Original Nikon Herstellergurt they depended very rigid and hard, so it was thought that the lens already breaks out during normal walking from the camera. Now it depends dampening suspension and slim (without paddles) in the hip and buttocks area - now I am happy, no comparison to the Nikon Originalgurt.
Finally, I wish to point out the 3/8 "belt loops, they are equipped with 9.5 mm width slightly narrower than the 12 mm wide Niko loops, sit / hold but still good and trustworthy in the Schlitzösen the camera - is just woven nylon Important. seemed just the problem with the quick connectors in general, keep forever and probably also not open on its own.
Overall, I trust the Op / Tech neoprene strap system and am pretty sure about his long life - very comfortable shooting without fear in the neck!
So much set text and set photos for a belt? I think so, because all the expensive stuff depends only on him ... in this sense ... neck & collarbone :)
UPDATE March 10, 2010 >>> got the belt now freed from its cable ties, because the OP / Tech System connectors are safe ... so my determination from the almost daily use of my camera equipment. Now I use the OP / Tech system as it is intended. Make from the shoulder pad, if I want to work more freely with my camera. I then a much smaller & lighter strap to the camera, nix bammelt unnecessary rum. Also, I can now use the other shoulder pad of the OP / Tech Strap System Utility Strap - a soft cushion special thank OP / Tech America, you know what needs to get it :-).
