Not bad, but significant concessions .... (supplement)

Tested on Sony A7 with Canon lenses 16-35mm 1: 4, 24-70 mm f4.0 L IS USM and 70 300 mm 1: 4-5.6 L IS USM
First impression: very high-quality, solid construction; even back with chromed bayonet flange; Inside painted matt black, the camera side inner edge taped with black stripes (for reflection reduction!)
Fit very well; when screwing clamps nothing, adapters and lenses can be easily removed;
- Adapter basically suitable for full format on the A7 (with the two tested lenses); practically virtually no vignetting even at 16 mm with the Canon 16-35 (herein also its competitors such as the Viltrox adapter consider)

Positives:
- Iris and image stabilization (IS) work very well in all operating modes
- Aperture values ​​and shutter speeds appear in the display and the viewfinder and display correctly
- The information in the EXIF ​​file to focal length, aperture and shutter speed appear to be correct; Lens is not recognized, IS incorrectly displayed image (see below)
- The AF is quiet and works surprisingly well, but needs several seconds and pumped back and forth several times, but find most of his goal, except as otherwise not uncommon - in low-contrast images with less structure and in low light conditions (the AF is but definitely not for moving subjects !!);
Therefore: focus better and safer manually

Minor restriction:
- The power consumption (during AF operation) is not insignificant and the battery more quickly empty
- The flange is only about 25.5 mm instead of the required 26 mm; This alters the sharpness level, if you change the focal length (and the markings on the distance scale not quite right);
- The stand base läst not properly tighten and wobbles by design; Provide attachment possibility from the outside using an Allen key unties
-no machine. Recognition of lenses APS-C format; Setting off the A7 must be set to off (at Viltrox adapter works setting auto)

Problems:
- The electronics is between every now and again (contact problems, cold?)
- Quite substantial reflections

Conclusion: recommendable with limitations, especially considering the price, especially compared to the Metabones IV, the cost 5x as much
