I read this book without knowing anything about the author, and I realized a fantastic diving in rural early 20th century with all the effects of war on everyday life and the feelings of a young girl we discover through her diary from 14 to his 18 years. War is a backdrop is the impact of this on the back which is here put to the foreground: women in the fields, the grief, the return of mutilated constant fear for beings dear to the front. Everything is restored correctly with alternating passages very realistic view other hard and very tender. On the last page of the book devoted to the presentation of the author, I learned that it was born in 1951, and that during 141 pages, so she performed brilliantly transfer of personality. A book to read to younger and also suitable for adults despite its ranking junior literature.
