Freedom Call speed! Not only what concerns concerts and tours. After a double-CD Best Of with funny rearranged pieces on CD 2 is back after a year with the new album "Beyond". The last album "Land of the Crimson Dawn" (2012) had a couple of little experimental songs in store, now you are rather traditional and reminds more than once to the early works in the back catalog. Particularly stand out the metallic "Heart Of A Warrior" and the thematically certainly adjoining old albums "Knights Of Taragon". Whether you so much to "You Never Walk Alone" (especially lyrically) must remember like "Come On Home", is sometimes debatable, but Freedom Call, you can simply not be angry with her jelly babies Metal! They spread a good mood when you can get involved with the music. Frontman and co-producer Chris Bay, the disk not only missed a good sound, but pushes the songs with his voice his stamp on. Opponents of Fanfarenkeyboarsds, "Ohoho" -Chören and various Schunkel Metal stories will still get caries here, but the rest has fun and notice how much Freedom Call by pulling their boots. Over the years it has created its own sound. Previously, the band was like counted as Gamma Ray or Helloween imitators, but as they have long been away from. Surprises like the bombastic-epic theme song "Beyond" with nearly eight minutes running time and a lot of variety like, with the remaining music to my ears straight, coming to the point rocks. Terms of between three and four minutes per song speak for themselves! Partly folkloric, seemingly elements were in the songs built such as "Dance Off The Devil" (Africa?) Or "Beyond Eternity" (Ireland?) Which will certainly provide live fun. Basically, "Beyond" for Freedom Call is metallic as the last slice become richer with maturity, some surprises and textual flashbacks to past deeds. Opponents of the troops are here certainly not mutate to fans, but for the coming spring, this is a strong Happy Metal plate with great, rap full bonus disc in the limited edition (Live Songs and unplugged songs). Because FC fans disappointed, honestly!
