They foil is not as thick and the device can be operated with or without glued protective film practically as well as without. Once glued, it is practically imperceptible.

A drawback which leads to the devaluation, but there is still: The film is supplied only two layers, ie a liner only on the adhesive side. This can cause the foil scratched before sticking.
