The Mystery of Mercy Close (Paperback)

Customer Review

This book is dedicated to the last of the Walsh Family: Helen after:
- Watermelon: Claire Walsh
- Angels: Magaret Walsh
- Rachel's Holiday Rachel Walsh
- Anybody out there: Anna Walsh.
This last component is a success and at the height of the previous 4 pounds.
Helen faced by depression which can seem quite unsettling for those who have read the previous books because Helen has always been a tough cookie who was afraid of nothing, that nothing could touch. Also being asked if the book does not quite describe depression suffered by the author in recent years and not a Die hard as Helen?
The story ends up taking anyway, always very funny with great sarcasm and black humor.
The context of the novel: the economic crisis in Ireland and an investigation to find one member of a boyband who tries to make a comeback pretty desperate. The plot is pretty thin, but a semblance of suspense creates still and allows laugh jokes middle of showbiz.
In summary, I liked this book that reconciles me with the author that I liked least the last two novels: 'This charming man' and 'The brightest star in the sky'.
