Everything about the tropical Flora (Paperback)

Customer Review

This is an absolutely magnificent book on the tropical flora. The pictures are large and of a rare quality, splendid colors. The texts are accurate clear: Originally flowering period, characteristics, varieties but also anecdotes about the name, or use. Of course you have the methods of cultivation in the tropics or European climate.

No page of this book is "lost": all plants are remarkably represented both by the picture the text. This is a book to savor slowly, page by page.

I can not help but to give you an idea of the general atmosphere of this book, to a copy of the remarks, a quote from Carl Linnaeus (1707-1778), which closes the chapter on the presentation page the palm trees. I quote "The human habitat is in the tropics where he saw palm fruit; it survives in the other parts of the world where he must feed on cereals and meat." ... At that time already ... Tasty. ..

It really is a beautiful book, with the text and image. Even if like me, you do not have a garden, this book will make you dream, and move delicious and exciting hours reading and watching.
