Lighting is by default set a bit high. An environmental sensor has not the monitor. In my experience, the brightness is 30% and 75% very pleasant contrast for text processing.
The monitor has a USB hub (4 ports, 2 rear, 2 sides). This is standard with Dell. Unfortunately, the stroke is only USB 2.0. Caution: If the monitor is turned off, of course, is also the hub of (I hang two drives off that I wanted to clone and turned off the monitor, because I did not need the image overnight, in the morning of course was not copied because I so off the Hub also had ...). The connections are otherwise perfectly adequate. An HDMI port I do not need, since I use the monitor only on PC.
The monitor has a pivot function, but which is quite stiff (I thought at first that it was broken). You turn the screen it clockwise.
I have long wondered whether I should take the 2412M or the 2410 or 2413 because I wanted to make image editing with Lightroom on the monitor. Ultimately I took the 2412M due to the significantly lower price and get it well. The monitor can "only" sRGB and not AdobeRGB represent (no extended color space), but I use anyway only sRGB. The color display - even when compared to the printed photos - very good and better than the classes of my old IBM monitor, the blues like represented as Lila times. Who really needs the color space of enlargement, of course, has to resort to more expensive siblings or equal to EIZO monitor.
The review is often updated and improved by me. If she / you is helpful to you, I free me of a "helpful" rating. If not, I'm talking about objective criticism and take it like to. Many Thanks!
