I bought the TV about 2 weeks ago for 555 here at Amazon.
My requirements for the TV were:
- Price -. Integrated satellite Reciver incl CI slot
- Diagonal between 42-47 inches
- Target program: football in HD
----------
Picture:
I have to say that the picture for the price really is very good. The playback of HD material is really great.
I sit 2.5m away and SD programs can still be regarded amazingly well.
There are very rare rough pixels or clouding.
Comparing the TV picture both in HD and in SD area with a 2 year old Philips TV from the 9000 series quickly notice that the black levels of course, not come to the Philips approach. Even the panel of Philips is much faster what (, football tennis) is particularly noticeable in sports broadcasts. However, the Philips device was 2 years ago and about 4-5 times more expensive.
Who genaustes pursues the football during a transfer and would not notice a slight "tail", which was to spend more money.
For quick rallies a slight tail can be seen. This effect can be even slightly reduce the settings.
In particular, the two expert settings / modes offer a variety of settings.
----------
Sound:
The sound has been tested only briefly, since an AV receiver is used.
I found the sound okay. Nothing special but for the price range absolutely fine.
----------
Integrated satellite receiver:
The integrated receiver is doing what it should, but the navigation is not always a good solution.
If you press eg the EPG button (Guide) opens the EPG preview and the current program is stopped and not running in the background. Next time you select / close without switching-connect to the channel needs to be rebuilt.
The manual channel sorting is very cumbersome. One option to export to the channels I have not found.
With a suitable CI module, it is possible to see also HD + / Sky. I use a "Unicam Evo module" and this works with the LG prima.
Those who still have money left over, which I would recommend to buy an external receiver.
With a connected TechniSat receiver, the picture was a bit better and the Zapping also shows more joy ;-)
----------
3D:
Function is very nice, but not important to me. The Astra 3D test pattern was nice to look at and also converting 2D> 3D is a fun feature.
There are passive 3D glasses that require the glasses from the cinema can also be used.
----------
Smart TV:
Features a smart TVs missing in the LG. Over a LAN port only updates can be imported.
--------------------
Conclusion:
I would recommend the TV to the integrated receiver. Since the device is housed in the hobby room, the receiver is sufficient.
From a price of 600 I would strike again!
