I wanted to try and see if this stone is an alternative to chemical agents once, but must establish clearly, no, it's definitely not. Since I am with our dog every day in the woods and fields on the way, this is of course ideal to capture ticks. And that is exactly what our dog - almost every time. Now that I use the stone for four weeks, I still have to pick out from the coat after a walk ticks. It also repeatedly bite which firmly as you overlook the one or the other. Would be great if it would work - can drink the water stone in the water jug, dog and down and recharge to the stone on the Druse. But more than any effect can not be achieved, not even a reduction. Too bad, that there remains only the Zeckenzange if you want to do without chemistry. Too Bad.
