The application to the Nexus 7 is the same as with any other BT device, the mouse is detected immediately.
No problems, even reconnecting to the standby Nexus, after switching off / on funtioniert smoothly.
Special features in this combination:
- Android does not differentiate between the two mouse buttons, they have the same function.
- The mouse wheel is fully supported. Scrolling in widgets on web pages, PDF documents or Word text files works. (
Tentatively I had previously connected a USB mouse from HP - there the up / down logic was wrong ...)
- Move the mouse is not on a widget but on "free" space on one of the home screens - is the mouse wheel as a wiping gesture replacement, which means you will change to the next home screen left or right.
Very, very convenient!
- The "Daydream" function on the docking station is fully supported, also function interactive program.
- Only one of the side buttons is supported: It serves as a "back" function. Nice!
- The DPI setting, reached via the small button in the control LED is located, change the speed of the mouse pointer. Good!
- To mention again because not self-evident: a small on / off switch at the bottom.
Neither quality nor to function I can not fault the smallest point.
Ergonomics: Despite relatively large hands (9 1/2) very good.
