Looking for a suitable adhesive for sealing and gluing the unfortunately become something open tank from Waterrower I discovered this glue Pattex 100%, and - for the price of 1/5 with respect to the "original" 2K adhesive from Waterrower himself - tried ,

The glue runs perfectly in the 0.5 .. 1mm gap between the tank halves, small bubbles could be due to the significantly longer processing time compared to the 2K adhesive from Waterrower to bundle with a pin.

After 1.5 days drying time today, the first rowing attempt ... holding properly!
