After my old flat iron has slowly given up the ghost after about 4 years, just had to quickly forth a new. I clicked my way through the various devices and am stuck with this hair straightener, because my main criterion is a manual temperature setting. The long titanium-finished plates and the good reviews wound up convinces me. After the first few times I was really convinced of the smoothing function and is not self-evident to me, because I have a lot of strong curly hair. Unfortunately I had after 3 months satisfaction notice that the plastic casing was cracked around the plates on both sides several times and thus at each sliding individual hairs were plucked. I must confess that the plastic casing of the entire flat iron generally not very "high quality" looks and feels - a pity!
