Musically Unholy have something changed. In my view, the disc is increasingly electronic and beat-heavy again ... the guitars are more pushed into the background. Nevertheless, many symphonic elements and the piano have rediscovered Eizug.
Since I know all Unheilig plates from cover to cover and was already on so many concerts by Count reminds me of the direct comparison quite simple. "Puppet" has become a very demanding, complex and intimate album. Especially the tracks "puppeteer", "reflection", "fire angel" and "The Story of Us" know to convince 100% and scents to establish itself as Unheilig classics.
Generally, "puppet" in my opinion does not show all the haunting superclass of "Modern Times". Nevertheless, the album plays at the highest level and includes one or two surprises. Unheilig fans will like the album, newcomers the entry is a bit more difficult. However, "puppet" and an album that some Hördurchläufe need to get caught. The album is a bit bulkier than its predecessor. Nevertheless, it was definitely worth it to continue to give ear to the Count!
