The power strip switches:
-a stereo amplifier (an old analog without automatic standby)
-a Blu-Ray Player
-a wireless headphones
-A game console
The USB cable has been plugged into the USB port of the TV.
The intended function meets the socket properly.
So why do I give "only" 3 stars?
1. If one of the 5 slots unusable. This is because that is bent in a slot, the child protection cover of the socket. This is definitely not due to the transport, but is simply an assembly error. (But since I "so far" have only 4 attachments I send the items not returned)
2. Although not on the safety plug a VDE mark, but on the power strip itself. Who says now, the plug yes belong with the bar and the VDE seal therefore applies for the complete strip is wrong. The plug is simply a well of purchased items throughout the bar. I think on one, sold in Germany, power strip should be at least one GS (tested safety) and / or VDE seal and / or TÜV seal available. The CE Mark gets to hinterhergeschmissen and says nothing.
3. I find it nonsensical constructed which are connected all the outlets of the strip. Normally one has "a" power strip behind the PC / TV where all devices are plugged. I would therefore have wished for a non-switched slot for the TV / PC. (This is but ersichtlicht from the description and is not a point deduction base, but only my personal opinion)
PS: Due to the bad processed Parental Control in one of the 5 slots can take a look into the inner workings of the power strip. This view confirms my fears poor workmanship.
I will therefore continue to ogle the strip critical, but do not return.
Because:
-They served their purpose
-has a lower stand-by consumption than classic master-slave sockets.
I -finde no alternative to this product (if it would see a 15-20 variant with better processing, I would buy this)
