Of course, here I miss some songs painful. "Good Times, Bad Times" from the debut, for example, or the fabulous "The Rover" from the Physical Graffiti (my favorite record). In return, I would like to completely dispense with the four songs that made it on the Resterampe "CODA" undeserved on this box set. This is ultimately the reason why I, despite phenomenal songs only four stars give this box. For the fourth CD in this collection includes mostly songs from "Presence", "In Through the Out Door" and just the outtake album "Coda". And compared to the feats on the first three CDs is still very much in this chronic sequence that Page and his associates from the "Physical Graffiti" -Doppeldecker (who also already includes outtakes) increasing the air has gone. Songs like "Candy Store Rock", "I'm gonna crawl", "Poor Tom", "Ozone Baby" and "Wearing and Tearing" have lost my mind on a best-of set anything. Although the very hard-minded fans will argue that Led Zeppelin have produced no bad songs - soberly consider they have, especially increasing from 1976 ("Presence").
Yet I hear this set now rather than the orignal albums. Because important is not just what's inside. But what remains the listener also spared. The following filler there have in fact failed to right to this set: "Hats off to Roy Harper" (III), "Four Sticks" (IV) and "The Crunge" ("Houses of the Holy"). Above all, the first five works are represented but almost completely on this set. Had Jimmy Page takes the fillers from the late period a few tracks more wasted from the early phase of this set, it would be a 5-star edition. But perhaps the guitar wizard did not want to admit to themselves that the airship has been on a descent since the mid-70s.
