The image quality is outstanding both in both Photo and Video mode. What I particularly like about the RX-100III is the fold-out viewfinder and the foldable display. Only the Zoom area could have been a bit more generous. For the lens over the entire focal length range is very bright.
However, it is highly recommended to order the accessories handle and an extra charger and a spare battery with.
Bottom line, this camera is exactly what I was looking for. Compact dimensions and a picture quality nearly as my SLR.
Addendum: I can make a 80x60cm large stretcher from an image of the RX-100III and the quality is fabulous.
