This organic, a little too condensed perhaps, the Strauss-Kahn couple reads like a suspense novel and focuses specifically on the now well-known vices of DSK and stunningly audacious and arrogant personality. From the life of couple of Strauss-Kahn, one learns absolutely nothing, if not the glitz in which it operates. However, the reasons that made this couple last 20 years despite repeated infidelities of the husband and the immense fortune of the wife who puts it at freedom from want, are not analyzed, and it is the biggest shortcoming of this book. Raphaelle Bacqué and Ariane Chemin have a real gift of storytellers, as we had seen already in the "femme fatale", story of the journey of Ségolène Royal, another bold and arrogant personality but in another genre.
