Recommended by a physio friend, I read this book after my mother had a stroke and was looking for how best to help. The first part of the book deals with brain anatomy (the professional field of the author), then tells how she felt and thought during the morning when she had her own Scary stroke. After she talks about her recovery and what others could do to help. It is this last part that is essential for us who want to surround someone who has had a stroke I highly recommend this book.
