Quite different is the situation if you have a slightly more upbeat memory connection. In Ricoh SD / MMC card reader my Thinkpad X220, the following values ​​for the 16GB card surrendered to the Heise Tool (h2testw):

37-38 MB / s read, 30-32 MB / s
