The new FRITZ! Box 7490 is on the current state of technology to be fast on the Internet on the go. Who but the previous model 7390 umsteigt it is seeking function of the USB remote connection vain. In addition I ran a laser and an inkjet printer and a scanner. But that is no longer, because it will no longer be the USB remote unit until sometime or at all, in any case, the telephone information service of the AVM hotline. Only a USB printer I installed the 7490 running. A second USB printer can not be operated. When one acquires a successor model, ought to be able to assume that there is at least mastered the functions of its predecessor ?! Why the device the USB remote connection is missing, remains an unjustifiable secrecy of AVM. In their (non-) makers should think times. The new AVM flagship is therefore for me more like a ghost ship.
