I have this Tablet ordered as notepad replacement for the university. The pen input as well as the handy 8 inch format were for me in the foreground. For comparison, I already own a Nexus 10. Right at the start I noticed already the low resolution compared to the Nexus 10. I do not understand why it creates in any Android device Samsung to build in a higher resolution. The display also has a relatively low contrast. Toll I found the 8-inch format, as this significantly more screen content than comparable 7 inches provides devices with software keys, which again need extra space. Websites were presented legibly, although as said before at a low resolution. The Android operating system read but very fluid use and had no stuttering, how else is always known by very fast androids. The disadvantage of course is that Samsung still needs time to adapt its programs / Launcher to new OS versions. A Customrom makes a note with pen operation and various S-programs no sense. Why so an update delusion? Also Android is not perfect and has vulnerabilities that are usually only closed with a higher version of Android. Since then, customers can wait no longer plan for non-Nexus devices or may never get them. Dealing with the pen was ok. A wow feeling as notepad replacement came on but unfortunately not. You have to get on the relatively small device but much scrolen to much to one side. In addition, the font always draws a little behind the pen, what bothers me the letter liquid. The pen is also very thin (of the Note 10.1 is better in the hand) and is also quite uncomfortable. A 10 inch touch with the same, very low resolution I certainly will not get me. Since Samsung has already catch up with FHD resolution. Who really uses the device with the stylus operation and can handle even properly will surely find a great tablet. For those who see the pen rather than gimmick because it is not a real notepad replacement, at least for me, the tablet is too expensive.
Advantages: Faster SoC and liquid operating system, amount of memory, good compromise between 7 inches and 10 inches (especially by hardware keys), phone function, processing
