I am 24 years old, a car salesman, and have little idea of DIY or the like.
I bought this for my garage door garage door at home. The device is now installed and working properly. The pace leaves much to be desired, but as already mentioned, the price performance ratio is just right.
I give this product 4 stars only because I disconnect a for the installation:
The device comes already "almost" completely assembled in the package. The problem with my device that the chain was twisted in itself totally. Thus we had the entire drive disassemble, rotate chain handle and reassemble.
I, as a human being with 2 left hands and my buddy who had mounted the device still in about 1.5 hours. Without manual mind you, because these times as nothing brings. Only for programming we used this.
Somehow I just read my review and think to myself: That takes one conclusion:
+ Easy installation (if everything is correct)
+ Superior technology
+ Compact transmitter
+ Universal for (almost) every garage
+ 30m (with me) reception with handheld transmitter
+ Very easy programming
+ The price !!! One hundred euro, since there is nothing to complain about. No more manual operation. Geil!
- Came with twisted chain in itself. Has the installation time increases
- In my opinion quite slow. Have a next door Normstahl engine. Comparison would bike to Formula 1 car
- Installation Instructions definitely too imprecise
- Any other programmable hand transmitters (for rolling code - constantly changing code)
Recommendation: Buy. Can not go wrong really.
