S100 questionable

After 5 months, the Canon lens showed the error in the middle of vacation. Correct annoying. The repair was carried out at home, however, without objection on warranty (Photos Of course I could not do on holiday).
Now after another 13 months back the lens error. The camera has been exposed to no sand, rain or anything else.
Send it again now, and can now only hope that the problem will be eliminated a second time on warranty / goodwill.
Extremely annoying as I do not know whether the error the next time you leave reoccurs.

Addendum:
Sent and repaired free of charge. Very good handling on TRS in Feucht. Lasted only 1 week. Unfortunately, the flavor of the lens error remains sometime can occur again. Of course, again on vacation.
