The settling time was quite lengthy. What helped was the fact that I used the old mouse is still parallel. Especially when writing, if one uses the mouse only once briefly, it was much more practical to take the small normal mouse. The biggest change was that you can not just lift with 2 fingers this mouse, if you will, for example, the top of the screen and is now already at the end of the mouse pad. The Rechtshändermaus you can for example then drag the mouse to the right kippenund down. Meanwhile, I do it without thinking about it, but at the beginning of the transition was quite difficult.
In any case, I can now use the mouse much longer without getting tired and I'm very happy with the part. The mouse still has a couple of additional keys - among other things for changing the resolution or the usual thumb buttons etc. Except for the middle mouse button (for example, in various drawing programs is needed), I do not use these buttons but currently. ... After all these buttons are well placed and have a very good tactile feedback, so I do not feel as disturbing.
Unfortunately, there is but one thing that the mouse does a 5-star review: After a year of the mouse wheel is no longer functioning properly. When rolling in one direction, it jumps eg 3x down and then 1x upwards. This is clearly visible when you have reached the bottom of the screen. Man rolls then further down, the image always jumps also up. The result is that you have to concentrate on longer documents very to not become disoriented. I tried to clean the mouse wheel. Unfortunately, the mouse is designed extremely maintenance-unfriendly. Until one comes close to the wheel, you have to build some parts apart and assembling without damage is very difficult. It turned out that the wheel was unexpectedly very clean and obviously was the fault within the sensor of the wheel.
Amazon has replaced my mouse as a preliminary exchange what I feel as a very customer-friendly use after one year.
